# Race data does not leave the team

> Where race data lives, who can read it and what is never done with it: European hosting, strict per-team partitioning, no resale, no model training.

A race strategy is a competitive advantage. Raceware is built so that this data stays protected, isolated from other teams, and used for nothing else.

- Data belongs to the team: no resale, no analysis without permission, and no model ever trained on a team race data.
- Each team is partitioned: a dedicated space, with data strictly separated on the server side. Nobody outside the team reaches its lap times, strategy or stock.
- European hosting, and a product designed for GDPR from the start.
- Role-based access: every member has rights per module, and the split is decided inside the team.
